Zion Episcopal Church, Avon NY

Zion Episcopal Church has a wide range of parishioners who have come to Zion from many different traditions and for many different reasons. At Zion you’ll meet members who have been at Zion their entire lives and members who are new to our church. The common denominator we share is a curiosity about our faith and a desire to serve the surrounding community. We have an active Bible Study that explores Scripture. All questions welcome. Members regularly share books that have been insightful, educational, or just plain good fiction. We serve Avon by giving generously to the Avon Food Pantry, and by serving a free lunch on Saturdays. We hope to start a Repair Cafe where people from the community can come to have items repaired for free in the near future. Put simply, we are a community that welcomes everyone and that takes seriously the command to love our neighbor as ourselves.
