About Circle Nursery School
In January 1977, a small group of parishioners at the Zion Episcopal Church had the idea of starting a nursery school. It was decided that Avon, NY needed a top quality, non-cooperative, nondenominational preschool located in the heart of the community. Thus, Circle Nursery School was formed.
Now, after more than 40 years of operation, Circle Nursery School continues to emphasize the importance of top quality education for children aged three to five. The preschool operates through a board of community members, parents and churchgoers who meet on a monthly basis to provide guidance and take care of the operations of our school. Circle Nursery School provides an innovative program of preschool education.
Children have a curiosity about the world which surrounds them. Our structured, yet flexible, preschool program is designed to respond to and encourage their social needs. Along with developing key pre-kindergarten skills, the children of Circle Nursery School have a wide range of opportunities to explore:

- creative dramatics
- games
- finger plays
This program is especially designed to enable children to grow to their fullest potential. It is the responsibility of the staff, with the cooperation of the Board, to establish and implement a preschool program that will best fulfill this goal.
